The Duality of motherhood...

That's my WHY.

Motherhood is a journey, it's stepping into the unknown but it also somehow feels like coming home, stepping into yourself somehow. It's a strength to push yourself beyond what should humanly be possible, but the ability to love with the softest tenderness. Womanhood is being a duality of things all at once, and motherhood is where the boundaries of this life are pulled apart, rewritten, and stretched.

I am first a mother. A comfort blanket, an "ow"ie kisser, a make believer, and a safe place for my 2 little ones. Becoming a mother was the single greatest journey of mine, and is a journey where I find myself all over, time and time again, in new phases...

......evolving over these years, as tiny hands rearrange my world and touch my heart and my soul.

So I get it. I am you. Now it's diapers, and bath time, and snuggly long nights, but soon it will be so so different. But each stage is just as important as the last. So I hope you remember it as it is right now, the messyness, the tiredness, the bright spots. Because one day they will be gone.

So let me help you capture it all, the growing belly, the jumping on the bed, the disheveled hair, and the time spent with those little ones changing you into this ever- evolving, YOU.
